Community-based counselling support with a dedicated counsellor located in both Port Hardy and Port McNeill addressing anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, identity, bullying, self-esteem, and life transitions. Serving ages 3-19
Complex Development Keyworker Services
Strength-based support for neurodiverse children/youth with FASD, ADHD, ADD, ODD and related conditions, offering advocacy, guidance, and practical tools for families.
Family Support After School Program
An after-school program serving children of ages 5 to 12 and youth of ages 13 to 18 with special support needs. Clients set individualized goals and work toward achieving them through activity-based programming with their peers.
Foundry Port Hardy
A province-wide network that provides a range of holistic wellness services for youth and caregivers in the Mount Waddington Region. Foundry services are available to youth ages 12-24 and their caregivers at no cost.
Infant Development Program (IDP)
Free family-centered service supporting children at risk for or experiencing developmental delays, with screenings, activities, and professional collaboration.
Let Them Play Early Learning Centre
Licensed $10/day government funded childcare facility in Port McNeill providing preschool, before & after school, and summer camp programs.
Let's Play Infant & Toddler Centre
Licensed infant and toddler childcare in Port Hardy with inclusive, play-based learning in a nurturing environment.
PEACE Program
Free, confidential counselling for children and youth who have experienced domestic violence, including individual/group counselling and VIP workshops.
Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP)
Therapeutic support for children and youth who have experienced sexual abuse or displayed sexually intrusive behaviors, plus parent/caregiver support.
Strong Start
A play-based, early learning program, offered at Robert Scott Elementary School
in Port Hardy from Tuesday to Saturday, providing a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to learn
and play alongside their young children, from birth to 5 years of age.
Supported Child Development
Individualized support for children with developmental delays, communication/behavioral challenges, disabilities, or medical needs in daycare, school, and recreational settings.
Youth Outreach Program
Support for youth referred by MCFD who are at increased risk or vulnerability, focusing on life skills and independence.
